What we process

Transcriv processes the audio/video files you upload, generated transcripts, and technical request metadata required to run and protect the service.

Anti-abuse metadata

To prevent spam and abusive usage, we process a pseudonymous anti-abuse identifier composed of your request IP address and a client fingerprint hash generated in the browser. This identifier is used only for security controls such as rate limits, daily quotas, and abuse investigation.

We do not use this anti-abuse identifier for marketing profiling, and we keep it separate from product analytics events.

Retention

Uploaded media files are deleted after jobs reach a terminal state (completed or failed). Transcript and operational metadata may be retained for debugging, reliability, billing, and abuse prevention for a limited period.
